VW LOGUS facelift
In 1993, SHADO was engaged at the Autolatina Design Facility in Sao Paulo, Brasil, where the VW & FORD design teams worked on creating unique cars off each others platforms.
At that the time during the relaunch of the classic Beetle, working upon the design and design supervision of the VW Logus, a VW version over the CE14 Escort platform. The new face created, later became the VW corporate grille and emblem design.
Unfortunately, the Autolatina partnership was dismantled a year later, as Ford moved the Ka to Brasil for local production, rather than the Gol based alternative, and so also the further work on the shared platform Logus was also abandoned
