Bakrie Motors - Small Car Studies
As part of the study for the range of possible vehicles for Bakrie Motors, the final product would have been a city car.
The initial sketches suggested that the design should have a ‘cheeky loveable character’, and although we tried to create a mini version of the Beta 97, the later sketches captured the essence of spirit originally envisaged.
In fact it was deeply influenced by the styling of the original Fiat 500 Giardinetta, some 10 years before Fiat resurrected the design theme.
