1997 V70 ‘Lifestyle’
As part of an evaluation of how the classic Volvo Estate Car could be developed, and make the best uses of a newly developed 4 wheel drive system. These set of sketches from 1993, were created to show a more rugged and practical development of the car’s exterior and load area designs.This programme eventually developed as the Volvo ‘Cross Country’ or ‘XC’ as it was later to be known.
