Volvo STCC Challenge
It was during the Summer of 2000, around the time of the launch of the S60, that the potential for a follow up to the very successful 850 Touring Car was investigated.
The programme was to be started with the S60 Challenge series, and so both a concept for the race car design and also the race car graphics were devised.
For the homologation of the Aerodynamic and body parts, a full kit was created and developed for production.
