Gentleman's Sports Car
ROVER Special Vehicle Division existed around 1990 to commission and develop new niche products form the existing Rover product range.
In 1992 one of the more adventurous proposals was to develop a Gentleman’s Sports Car upon the chassis of the Range Rover.
With images of a ‘Toad of Toad Hall’ abounding, the design themes featured an updated blend of the 1930’s Cord 812, Bentley’s and Duesenburg’s.
It certainly would have had presence.
