Thai Rung Union Cars Estate Car Designs
Thai Rung Union Cars of Bangkok, Thailand have had a long association with SHADO, and since 1982, designs have been produced for their Minibus and Estate car products.
The Pick Up truck is the primary vehicle used in Thailand, and in fact today, many manufactures have their Pick Up manufacturing plants based there also.
TRU are a volume producer of Estate cars, which are developed from a pick up chassis cab, and tooled and manufactured at their own facilities.
During 1995-96 their major product was the Victor Estate, which was based upon the Isuzu Crew cab of the period. The rear quarters and tailgate for each of their various model types have been themed and directed by SHADO, as well as offering them all new design proposals to further their model range and portfolio.
