DAF Sleeper cab Interior rendering 1996.05
As part of the development of the range of cab options in the 7-15 tonne trucks. The sleeper cab was designed and developed, in conjunction with the engineers of CAD Ltd and the DAF Styling Dept. during 1996 as a fully tooled steel body that integrated with the existing 'day cab' .
The design was fully developed ‘on screen’, then as Exterior and Interior clay models, which were approved and then fully mastered and tooled.
Produced by CAD sister company Creative Manufacturing, the resulting cab proved to be a very popular effective complementary vehicle into the DAF truck range.
